86 Zetor 6211
Just bought a 1986 Zetor 6211 and I can稚 make the three point hitch go up and down. The manual is water damaged. Can someone help me?

When sitting in the operator's seat, there is a Three Point Hitch control valve located around your feet. If the valve is closed, shutting off hydraulic flow to the Three Point Hitch, it cannot move.

Here is more Zetor 6211 information. Manuals available, hopefully in English rather than Czech.

Finish your T-B-N PROFILE. Fill in your location. (North-Central Florida, Texas Panhandle, Central Nebraska, San Juan Islands, Washington, Upstate, New York, etc.)

Not sure that flow control valves were prevalent on all 80's vintage tractors? If present, they are rockshaft
Control speed lever next to the raise/lower lever. Did the linkage operate when you made the purchase agreement, Bought from dealer, auction, indrividual? Perhaps consult the purchase source?

Believe the under seat forward screw type was a compact tractor innovation.

As for the the location police, they may be ignored, has no bearing upon your issue.

Not currently at my tractor so not sure if I have that lever. Purchased from a guy who who really didn稚 know how to operate it so there was no agreement. I will look for the lever.

It is a valve, not a lever. While I am not familiar with Zetors the layout of the tractor Three Point Hitch is the 98% the same around the world.

If the valve is open, it could be many other things preventing hitch movement. Try the simplest corrective first, finding and opening the valve.

Jeffy,
The lever controls the valve. A lever is simply the means by which the valve is operated. You noted a screw control for the flow control valve forward of the seat near the floor and I've not seen that type of control on an 80's vintage Ag tractor. Admittedly, your experience is wholly centered around several compact tractors.

My IH tractor, same vintage as OP, employs a LEVER to moderate the hydraulic flow to the rockshaft cylinder, for speed control.

What is the control mechanism on YOUR 80's vintage Ag/Utility tractor ?? Perhaps yours is electronic?

EDIT: Historical Note: Soviet Controlled Companies did NOT March to the World's Tune in 1986 !!
