That would in turn give Deere some competition. I don't have a Deere Quick hitch, I just do it the old fashion way. Besides, if you have to adjust the quick for each piece of equipment, it is no longer a quick hitch. I know that many many on here have actually modified their equipment to work with whatever hitch they bought. Modify the implement once instead of adjusting the quick hitch each time.
The 18-22" standard has worked for 50+ years and it still working. When you take in to consideration JD does not manufacture 99% of their CAT 1 implements why should the whole industry redesign their stuff to meet JD's standard.
Just how big is I-Match? Less than 20% of JD compact tractor customers have purchased an I-Match. Consider that JD has around a 18% market share in compact tractors. When you look at the numbers I-Match customers are a very small group in the industry.
The 15" measurement does not work well on full size tractor applications when using 3 point hay tools. It causes clearance with the PTO. Remember this is supposed to be the standard for all CAT 1. The 15" standard is not a better idea, it is a company trying to legislate a market niche for themselves.
We have 7 JD tractors and 3 McCormicks so you can see I'm not against JD just to be against them.
