Well, I assume you know there is a lowering speed adjustment knob, right? Is it not working?

Okay I found it. I thank you for steering me in the right direction. I hope that solves My problem.

Oh. OK. Do you have an owner's manual? You should, and they can be downloaded on-line. You will have MANY other questions like this readily answered by quickly scanning through your owners booklet. I do not own a B7100 but have seen them and do own 4 Kubotas. All of them have this feature.

Look near the seat kind of under the front edge of the seat. In the example below (a BX2200) you see the location. It is probably similar on your B7100 but look at the manual to confirm. If you find the knob it usually has a white rotating arrow mark on it and a pictorial of one of the lift arms -- meaning that it adjusts the lowering speed of the lift arms. Not to be confused with the lower and somewhat larger knob down closer the floor which adjust the deck mowing height.

I have the speed for lowering set, but it still stops and moves the lever back and stops the. Lowering. Forcing the lever will get it down, but there is still something wrong.

Yes I have a manual and I adjusted it for the speed of lowering, but it still doesn't go down all the way before it kicks the lever back in my hands.

On this model there are no visible hydraulic pistons that actuate the 3 point.

I suppose I will just have to live with it. Thanks for trying. Tom

Nah. Don't be discouraged. If it lowers normally down to some point and then kicks back that means you are down to a stop in the range of lowering motion. The speed knob does not overcome or change that. There are no external hydraulic pistons on many tractors including all but the much larger Kubotas. The hydraulic lift mechanism for your 3pt is internal to the chassis. To my knowledge the upper and lower extremes of the 3pt lift are fixed. Externally you have multiple pin locations to select a higher and lower point for the rear lift arms. The top link has usually 3 pin locations on the back of the tractor that affect the lift extremes and leverage. And of course the top link is threaded and adjustable.

Does not go "all the way down." What do you call "all the way down?" What are you trying to do that you cannot do?
