Kubota B6100E with dreams of a B7500
Whenever I lift my implements, i.e., box blade or finish mower, a relatively loud screach can be heard. This only happens under load and primarily when RPM's are up. At idle the implements are lifted and I hear no screach. Additionally, the problem is made worse if I try to slowly lift the implement as opposed to jerking it up. Just changed the hydraulic fluid. No improvement. Any ideas?

If it only happens under load (weight or force on the 3ph), it could be the pressure relief valve unloading. Does it screech with a relatively light implement and no external forces on the implement?

After re-reading your post I'd definitely point to the relief valve. It may have lost it's pre-set relief setting (usually a spring load). Someone else will have to chime in on repair, or try your dealer /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Sound is definitely coming from the control valve assy as evidenced by the craftsman flat blade stethescope. The manual shows an adjusting screw presumably to increase or decrease pressure on the spring. I will give that a try and see what happens.

Thanks to all who helped with the diagnosis.

Does it have any problem lifting the load? Does it just screech for a second and then stop when the implement reaches the desired height? Have you had the tractor long?

No trouble lifting a load. It only screaches for a second unless I try to ease the implement up, then it will screach continuously. I have had the tractor only for a couple of years. It has a long history of non farm use. i.e. moving boats around.

It is normal for it to screech a little. Normally as it is approaching the top of it's travel right before the lever kicks back to neutral. What kind of oil did you use when you changed the hyd. fluid? I am also assuming that your control valve is 3 position type. Sometimes I can't keep the old tractors straight.
