Kubota L3800 HST
I built one of these for myself, and after using it, I decided to build one to sell. I needed mine to pull small trees for food plot clearing. I mounted mine behind my Kubota L3800 and was amazed at how well it worked! Anything under 4" in dia is a breeze to pull out of the ground...roots and all. I back up to the tree that I want gone, close the jaws on the tree, and back up. I have a video of it in action but don't know if/how I can upload it on this site. The pictures are of the one I want to sell and it has never been used. It is fabricated from heavy 1/4" thick wall material and has a cylinder rated for 3000 psi. If anyone is interested in buying it, please message me. It is located in central Missouri and I am selling it for $1500. Thanks.

If you are open for a little constructive criticism......I think you need to reanalyze your price point.

Tough to break into a market from scratch, being a "nobody" in the broad market of implement and attachment MFG's, and charging as much or more for a product that quite a few companies already make.

You likely have less than $500 in material......and some shop time. If you want to sell some.....I'd try to price less than the "big boys".

Anytime you post anything on a forum, you open yourself up for constructive criticism...I don't have a problem with it. Not trying to break into anything, just had the extra time/materials so I thought WTH. I'm not doubting your claim of a product that "quite a few companies already make", but before I decided to build one, I couldn't find anything similar to this on the commercial market. Thanks for your input.

Most of the ones on the commercial market that are similar......are SSQA designed for skid steer use. And the ones I have seen, range from $1300-$1500. And A few threads and answers in the FAQ's of some of the sites indicate that 3PH pins can be added to the SSQA plate for not much $$$ through the MFG.

I dont knwo anything other than that about tree pullers. Not in the market for one and never have been. But have seen quite a few threads here about them.

Just at quick glance....I though it was priced too high....considering time and material involved. I just bought a 66" front grapple for a good bit less money, and there is more material, and considerable more time fabbing.

I may be totally wrong, and wish you all the best in selling as I have no dog in the fight. Just offering my :2cents: I think it should be priced $800-$1000

Fabrication looks good. Good luck with it

Although for the record I agree with LD1. I think people think twice about buying expensive attachments. I don't know your margins but if I were you I would price it at least half of the major manufacturers. More people would take a shot at buy it and take a risk. For 1500 and I have to compare companies I would think twice.
