Bobcat Toolcat High Flow Turbo C-series
I was talking to my dealer about the 3-pt hitch model and he didn't even know about it, so he said he would check with his factory rep. There had been discussions here that it might be out in the first quarter, but that seemed doubtful if in February the rollout hadn't even been mentioned to the dealers yet.

The news is even worse. He called me yesterday and said he was told it wouldn't be out till the end of the year. I was very disappointed, I need the suspension of the 'D', but I also need the 3-pt hitch. Can anybody confirm this, or have information to the contrary?

The company Skid Steer Solutions makes a 3-point attachment that'll mate up with the Bob Tach. They make three models: Plain Jane, Fancy with Lo-flow PTO, and Fancy with Hi-Flow PTO. They are modular so you are supposed to be able to upgrade Plain Jane to the other configs later.

If you have alot of equipment you want to drag around like a tractor then this might not be a good solution as your neck will eventually tell you all about it. However, for a once-in-awhile thing, this might work.

It's for the equipment that you have to pull, like a disk harrow, that I need the 3-PT hitch. I already have the skidsteer to 3-pt hitch adapter, but that has limited use.

I was under the impression that you'd use the 3-pt hitch adapter to pull stuff around. Hence my comment about the stiff neck. Actually, a disk harrow was what I was thinking about. Would this not work with the adapter?

Actually theres's alot of older implements that can be used without a 3 point, & some of them can be easily converted to hydraulic lift with an add on cylinder. I'd be more interested in those than losing the tilt bed on my toolcat.
The down side is they can need repair, but I've been looking at some the ATV implements & they seem OK for smalller jobs. Of course it depends on how much the toolcat can pull as far as plowing etc.

I told my dealer near the end of Dec about the start of production for the 3 point in the first quarter of '08. At that time my dealer didn't know anything about it. He called his area rep, who also didn't know anything. Week later, area rep told him the 3 point is still on track for production. My dealer tells me, that dealers are often the last to know about newest releases. The fact that your dealer doesn't know anything does not surprise me. Even Bobcat's select dealers have little to no info.
I'll try to find more current info. I hope your source is wrong but my older information may have changed.

New information on 3 pt toolcat. Talked to my dealer (bobcat select dealer)today. He contacted Bobcat this morning. He told me bobcat is suppose to start full production in July. They will be building a few (10 or so) pilot models soon. He believes he will have one on hand in 1-2 weeks. I will take a look at that one.
I talked also to a second dealer in a different city, who said his information was they are to start production in the second quarter. I think this is overall good news for us interested in the 3pt version.
