Hi everyone. I'm trying to locate a manual for this particular tractor (CKC TS245 with a Fei Dong Diesel engine 295T-1)

I'm trying to get the hydraulics on the 3 pt hitch working.

i know it has power steering

Found the reservoir under the seat looks like the level is ok. (No dipstick?)

Pics of the levers that im not sure function: stick2.jpeg

Pic of possible hydraulic pump located above pto box2.jpeg

i read about a knob that adjusts the TPH flow rate... havent found that yet either.

Anybody have any insights ?

Could the second pump above the pto fail yet still supply power steering?

Yes there are two hydraulic pumps. The one located above the PTO can be the issue if the hydraulic lift fails to rise. That lever to the left of your seat in the pic is the speed of the PTO. There should be two speeds and Neutral. The riser pump is located above and powered by the PTO, so if it is not engaged, no pressure.

I got some help from //Greg// this morning and focused on getting the shaft to work. I was able to engage the pto shaft but for some reason, i still cant get the 3pt to rise up or down. still waiting on a manual. thanks //greg//

is this the flow control 'knob'?

Sitting down at the right heel there is a push lever for the foot. I assume its the brake.. the brakes on the normal right front foot work. but that particular one doesn't. wonder if it has to do with the 3pt or hydraulic system in general

And-

If the filter was dirty or clogged wouldn't it affect power steering as well? power steering seems fine.

Posted hydraulic plumbing line pictures here

G'day I would say yes to the control knob it will alter the rate at which your linkage will lower only as for the lever at your right **** if it is foot operated then it is prob for the diff lock.

I have just had a look at your pics and would appear that the pump on the rear is the steering pump can you see another pump anywhere? If it is as you were told operated off the pto then it may be internal.

Hey Jon. I can see that there is a thicker hydraulic line that comes out of the sump from the left side (while sitting), all the way around to the right side front where it connects to a box (pic).. there is a return line (i assume it is the return) that goes to some kind of box type area under the steering wheel where other hydraulic lines are connected to (wish i had better terminology). From there lines go out to the steering and to the sump again. i posted a pic here of the plumbing -- B 2

and this one shows the probable front pump that connects to the engine via a flywheel(?) connected to a rubber belt -think you can see the belt in the pic coming up
