I have a TS1910 and the bolts that hold the lower 3 point link assembly to the rear axle housing keep backing out. I have tried thread lock. I applied JB Weld to glue the bolt heads to the housing. The bolts still back out.

Has any one drilled from the bottom up though the top of the housing and used bolts with nuts to hold on the assembly? I am worried that this may change how the weight is distributed and cause stress fractures in the axle housing.

Hi Based on your post I assume your talking about a metal bracket that bolts to the underside of the tractor which the lower 3pt arms are then attached to. If the bolts that hold this will not tighten down I'm guessing they must have been loose while the tractor was being used which would have caused the holes to become enlarged/damaged. If this is the case the best thing to do is drill out the holes a bit larger and re-tapp them to accept a larger bolt. Another possibility would be to make the bracket larger by welding pieces to it that would allow you to attach it at other points. If your axle housing is square you could even make different brackets and attach them to the housing with heavy u-bolts.
