I finally got around to installing my remotes, 2 rear and a 3rd function front remote. I installed 2 Bobcat remotes one with detent and one without. The front is a WR Long kit for my grapple or anything else I want to run out front. The WR Long kit is nice got it from Wallace Tractor ofcourse, it comes with everything you need including a new handle with rocker switch for front hydro control while still maintaining full loader functions.

Nice toplink! Did you have any trouble installing front aux. remotes? Wondering how much did the kit cost, I really would like to install a grapple on my CT450.

The front was super easy to be honest about an hour or so to install. You have to take the seat off, remove 1 hard line off loader valve and replace with new hoes provided, mount valve 2 bolts, tighten up hoses, wire 3 easy wires and replace joystock handle.

I will take some other pics with grapple on and in use.

As far as price I purchased everything at one time when I got new tractor, call Rick at wallace tractor for a good price.

I am considering a 235 tractor.....and would want one rear hydraulic for a hydralic top link....and one set up to the front for a grapple. Would you recommend going with two pair of rear remotes from bobcat.....and then add plumbing to the front? Or.....would you put one set in the back from Bobcat and add the Long kit for the grapple?

Thanks in advance.....and nice work on your hydraulic lines.

Foggy, I would put want you want on the rear, i dont think it cost that much more to put the 2nd one on the rear. I think a dedicated from remote is the way to go for most front attachments. Think of it this way, do you want to be on a clean up job steering, reaching down to run one of the rear remote levers and shifting and running yr bucket joystick??? I think youd have to have 4 or 5 hands.

Heck by the time you by a 2nd remote, 20 ft of hose and all the fittings how much are u saving? Then you have them hoses hanging who knows where? IDK but I like the dedicated remotes, if its a money thing up front, try to save and do it right, just my opinion.

BTW I think you are making a great choice in the Bobcat family of tractors.

When I installed my dual rear remotes on my 335, I was told that detented ones were discontinued and that I would have to use a bugee cord or something to hold it open:confused:

My rear remote spools were sent from the factory in the open position, but there was a detent kit that came with them but it needed to be installed, so I chose the C-D remote to install it for my back hoe, so now I have one of each. So the kit must be still available for installation, maybe the only ship the valves with no detent, prob to protect people from leaving them on and burning up the pump.

Tinman. Can I get a few pics of how the front remotes travel down the loader arms from the control box, and attach to the front? I assume these are all rubber lines and no metal lines like originally came with the loader. Thanks. BTW will the front remotes allow you to run a 72 inch sweeper, and posthole? Thanks D.

Bummer on the sweeper.. So it wont even begin to run a sweeper? Not even a little slower than normal. How about a 5 foot?
