I need some input here. my Digmaster has 30mm bucket pins. This is discussed on Face book quite often, and here and still no solutions. I wanted to use the 25mm attachments but to my knowledge and searching, no one makes it. Why don't the China mfg's make it. It would not cost much more to just make 30mm ears. I ordered a quick hitch around $95. i went to a local truck spring shop and they fave me a couple of cut off ends. This metal had not been forged yet and I figured it would be a very good quality of steel. I took it to a machine shop and cost me $100 to get 4 holes in it. They said they had to mill it. (I think 1/2" hot rolled would work fine and easy to drill. I cut the ears off and welded the new ones on . Total cost $190. Bought a 7" trench bucket and works great. (dug a stump out with it) Now I can purchase other attachments. Since then I have been asked by other owners to make one for them. (I really don't want to, I am 85 and shakiey when welding and getting harder for me to do things) So my question to some of you small fabricators who have the equipment it would be a piece of cake for you to make a few of them up. You can purchase a quick hitch off ebay for less than $70 . I checked at local metal shop here and they said two pieces of 1/2 x 3 x 7 hot roll would be around $15. and drill holes $40.If you have a big drill press and a mig welder, might be easy money. I think you could sell them for $250. i heard some one was making then for awhile but price was $500. and no longer making them. I don't know if you would face any libality issues in making them and shipping them would probably would run $30-$40. Any one who has a excv. with the 30 mm pins, what is the width of your boom stick where the pins go mine is 4" is that standred?
