300 and 304 vs 320 and 324

Posted this in wrong forum initially. Sorry if you read it twice.

I've narrowed my search down to the above tractors. I believe all would do the job I have of about 1.2-2 acres of bermuda grass with a few trees, obstacles. I would like the better powered one, but it seems that the bagger on the larger models requires the power flow bagger which adds almost 1200 to the price where as the bagger for the lower models is half as much. Is the power flow really worth it? Can anyone tell me if either collection system is better.

I know all the specs, but is the bigger enjgine/tranni worth it when the bagger attachment is so much more.

I am not even sure I would use the bagger over mulching most of the time. Is mulching adequate?

Currently JD had $300 off any of these mowers and $200 off any attachemnt over $400. So a good time to buy.

the powerflow is a completely different attachment, the cheaper bagger is just a tube that uses the flow from the mower to push clippings up into the bags. my experience is that you have to empty more often because the bags will only get 3/4 full before pick up performance drops. and forget about picking up wet stuff, it will clog very quickly

the powerflow is an additional fan housing that blows the clippings up. I am very happy with mine because I have lots of leaves to pick up as well as grass clippings. the powerflow works wet or dry and actually I find for leaves it actually works better when they are wet

It all depends on how picky you are about the clean look. mulching is fine because the clippings disappear quickly but with the powerflo, they disappear instantly.

mulch if you are not picky and if you are picky get the powerflo. the cheap bagger is not worth the money. and definitely upgrade to the 320-324, worth the money.
