Just came back from the NH dealer and thought I would share the current prices for oil and filters for my TC35D

1 FT SBA340500920 HYD FILTER $27.55
1 FT SBA340500890 H.S.T. FILTER $19.36
1 FT 87415600 OIL FILTER $9.64
1 FT 86641084 2.5G 15W40 $18.99
3 FT 9624451 5 GAL 134 HYD FLUID $94.47

I already had a fuel filter but I can't remember the price on that one. Looks like I'll be busy tomorrow with oil changes, greasing, and of course clean and wax /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Is this a total price for three 5-gal pails? I sure hope it is because 134A is not worth $19 per gal in my opinion. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Otherwise, I think your prices are pretty normal.

Pretty much the same. the filters I got cheaper but 134 was more. (I am taking that you got 15 gal. of it for that price). My fuel filter was $ 2.84. Outer air filter $ 16.40, and a thermostat $16.69. They didn'thave the thermo in stock so I paid $6 shipping. I bought it at Knight Farm supply in Glen Easton, WV. Total $182. OUCH

Yes Jinman, that was for 3-5 gal buckets at 31.49 per. I also had them price a 55 gal drum of 134A and it was $309.95. Not that much difference then the 5 gal buckets. I am also going to use your advice on an earlier post and use some empty 5 gal buckets with 2 trash bag liners to dispose of the old oil. The only thing I couldn't find was the Fleetguard PG antifreeze at walmart. All they had was Prestone 50/50 mix /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif; however, I did grab 2 gal of distilled water while I was there /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Do you use PG or EG in yours Jinman?

I use a 50/50 mix of EG. That's what it came with from the factory and that's what I've continued to use. The Operator's Manual just says "...a 50/50 solution of permanent antifreeze and water." From that, I think you could use either the PG or EG and be okay.

I'm almost at 300 hours myself. About how much time will (should) the whole job take me?

If you have everything you need (filters, fluids, funnels, containers) I'd plan on it being a 2-hr job. It could get stretched to 3 hr if you are slow like me. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I'm right behind you guys at 298 hours on the meter. I'm just waiting for a rainy day to do my 300 hour maintenance and lately it's been sunny and hot. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Through a combination of complexity, time constraints and poor planning, I somehow got past the 300 hour mark without the service. In fact, I got to about 330. Then, I got this stupid heart thing and can''t do it myself any longer. My son-in-law did some badly needed bush-hogging for me, and ran it to about 340. Then, I called my dealer to pick it up (out in Okeechobee, about 45 miles away), do the service, and deliver it to me in Port St. Lucie (only about 10 miles South of the dealership), where we have some clean-up to do. then, I'll have someone take it back to Okeechobee on my trailer.

He picked it up earlier this week, but spent the last couple of days boarding up and preparing for the hurricane. So, it will likely be a while before I get it back, depending on how bad we're hit and when they can get back to work. I won't find out how much he's charging me until I get it back, but I won't be surprised at something around $350. Plus, I had to pay them to make the pickup.

So, it might turn out to be one of the longest and most expensive 300 hour services, ever...

I just finished the 300hr changes plus greased the backhoe, loader, and tractor. I started at noon and it took me the better part of the day the first time around, but now that I know my way around the next time should be much faster. The best thing was all my old hydralic oil was clean (not milky). The trash bags in the buckets worked great Jinman /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
