Well, i would agree that the 4xxx series is better for heavier duty work loads. And the 3x20 series is a bit mre top heavy than the 4X10 series was. As far as the cab goes, I do not like getting thick pollen and other crap all over me and my clothes from brush cutting or just the wind blowing it from the fiorest in the summer and in the winter the cab is so much fun - watching those without cabs and the snowblower operators enjoy (battle) the elements. 
Plus, in the summer, if I have to encounter wasps, yellow jackets, etc, I really would rather have that cab around me that trying to swat and drive
However, this is my first cab, my other units were OS, and i gotta tell ya, I really enjoy the cab.
