I am looking at a used 2009 JD 3005 here in TX with loader, 5' shredder, box blade, auger and the tractor has <100 hours on it. It looks like it was barn kept and very clean. What is a fair price for all of this? Are there any financial institutions that will finance this tractor? Thanks for your help.

Looks like most of the dealer prices for used 3005s (with the loader) range from $13K to about $16K.
The 3005 you're looking at is a private sale with about $1000 worth of used implements.
I think $14K for the tractor and implements is fair...but the seller might not.
As far as bank financing...you need to talk to your local banks or credit unions. Used tractors can be hard to finance. If the seller financed through Deere credit, they may work with you. Deere credit has been, in my experience, good to work with.

If those are JD implements they may be worth somthing more than Roy is saying IMO. (Roy is kinda tight ;) .....a good thing ;) )

If those are deere attachments....and I was doing the selling.....I'm guessing I would try to get $17,000 or so (of course this is a sight-unseen guestimate).
If I was doing the buying......Roy's number of $14,000 would be a good place to start on a low-hour machine as described.

Does it have warranty?

Not sure about finance....but if your credit is good....Deere may allow you to take over the sellers contract. It wouldn't hurt to ask 'em.

Assuming the 3005 is 4x4, I stick with Roy's number.

Maybe 1500$ tops for the attachments. Box blade and auger 800$ to 1000$, tops. The shredder...not quite sure what it is...Rotary Cutter.??...500$

I guess I wouldn't pay any more than 14,000 dollars.

Sorry it is 4x4. Thanks to everyone. I have reached out to Deere Credit to see if they can help. The implements are green but they are Frontier brand. I watched a couple of videos on youtube and I think the 3005 is just the right size for my 20 acres.

Only you can decide this...but I think the 3005 is a bit small if you plan on working the whole 20 acres.

Well I listened to Roy. I have purchased a 5075E. I got it with a 6' cutter and box blade, a front hay spear and loader. It will be delivered Saturday and I am ready to get some time in the seat. I have pictures at the dealer but will post some when I put it to work. Thanks to everyone...i'v learned a lot from this site.

Wow! There is a big differnce between the 3005 and 5075 :licking:

However, unless you need to get into some very tight spaces or need to fit the tractor onto a fairly small trailer, you will find that the 5075 is more comfortable and MUCH MORE capable.:thumbsup:

After a year of working my 20 acres I did not want to wish I had a bigger tractor. So I took the plunge.
