300cx /430 losder question.

The QD plates on my 430 loader are shot. Welds are cracked and links are bent. Damage occurred in the 4000hrs of use before it became mine. Looking around, i see several 300cx loaders at auction from burned tractors. As ther burn is around ther motor, the QD plates are not affected. The 300CX linkage design looks to be more robust than the 430, as well. Does anyone know of the 300CX QD plates and linkage can be fitted to the 430 loader arms? I have a basic shop and can make new pins and perform minor arm modifications. This swap looks like it might be better than rebuilding the current mangled mess that i have.

I look forward to any input or alternate ideas.

Did a part search R side part # W47351 and L side # W47350 for the 430 and it looks like the 400 series holder brackets are different then the 300 series and are not compatible. You might want to try and do a search for the holder brackets from a 410 thru 460 loader. Parts catalog says they are all compatible. Another option is to order from JD. They have a cost of about 235.00 each.

Hmm, JD says the 300cx (320R) is compatible with 4300 LCUT. 400x series loader is for next size up UT.

The P/N listed above are the cast plates for the later model 430 loaders. A few of thr links are common with the 300CX. It sppears that the 300CX has a different pin type that makes the other parts unique. May be worth the gamble if i can pick up a salvage 300cx at the right price

Yeah the 300cx FEL replaced the older 420/430 loaders. The 300cx will fit on the 4300 and other various discontinued JDs but I believe you will need to get other mounting brackets as well. If your looking at replacing the whole FEL it might be worthwhile. I am pretty certain the mounting brackets by the foot wells are different but the mounting area for the front of the loader to the tractor are the same.

Yes, the brackets on the bellhousing are completely different. I'm hoping that i can adapt the bucket QD brackets and links, but swapping over the entire frame may also be an option. The bucket details and bracket width appear to be exactly the same.
