I went to my local Farmtrac dealer and got this quote on a 320 DTC TLB : $22,365. Now, this dealer is also a Woods dealer and puts Woods attatchments on versus Farmtrac. This quote was with a Woods 1009 model loader and a Woods model 7500 Groundbreaker subframe mount hoe. The 360 DTC TLB package would be an additional $1000. Does this sound like a good deal? Do you guys like these Woods attatchments any better? As far a financing he said he doesn't do the Farmtrac financing so we would have to get our own financing elsewhere. He said a lot of people will get the tractor titled and then banks are more likely to offer the same rates as on new cars? Any comments?

I got quoted 23,500 for the 360TLB package w/some extras. I'd try for the Farmtrac financing...you won't find 0% at any bank. I'd rather have the farmtrac loader and hoe, but thats just me. Woods makes nice gear, but I want a factory TLB package. (although the groundbreaker is a nice hoe)
Check the farmtrac website for dealer locater. You probably have several near you.

I don't understand why this dealer doesn't offer FarmTrac financing? I mean it is just through agricredit...this really makes me scratch my head. I would also want the FarmTrac loader and backhoe. Check with some other dealers, good luck.

A few questions: 1) does this dealer have any other Farmtrac units for sale on his lot other than the 320DTC you are looking at? 2) if yes, do they have Farmtrac loaders?

It may be that the company can't get loaders off the line in Tarboro fast enough thus dealers are being forced to match up with non-Farmtrac implements. This is just conjecture on my part, based on your story and my dealer waiting weeks for delivery of a loader to match the 300DTC that has been on his lot for months now. Actually, I view this as a positive sign, as it may point to high demand for the Farmtrac units.

I would think that the dealer would be able to offer you 0% financing at least on the tractor. The Woods loader and backhoe might be a different story. I just picked up a 270DTC w/4050 loader and got 3 years @ 0% interest w/10% down plus sales tax. I put her to work right away and had no problems, other than what appears to be a faulty hazard warning switch.

Good luck.

Just a correction, the model I was quoted was a 300 DTC. Yes, the dealer had other 300 DTC's with Farmtrac loaders as well but they were the black loaders.

I just looked up the specs on the loaders and wow, what a difference:

Woods 1009 Lift capacity at PSI at bucket pivot pins : 1,360 lbs.

Farmtrac 5145 Lift capcaity at pivot point : 2100 lbs.

Woods 7500 Hoe Bucket Digging Force: 2600 lbs.

Farmtrac 4008 Hoe Bucket digging force: 2850 lbs.

Are the 2006 Farmtrac attatchments really that beefer or are the numbers inflated?
