Hey Thomas, This pic was taken out of the kitchen window(south of house) a couple years ago....... sorry bout the quality but we haven't been able to make our scanner work right( actually we don't know what we're doing wrong, The picture loads at too big of a file size/type) We had a 3 mo. old german shepard pup ( "Wolfgang") sleeping on the front porch. When the bear reached up and pulled the bottom off of the b-feeder, the glass fell out landing on the ground and the sound woke the pup. Never seeing a bear before, that fat little pup moved towards the bear bristling and growling. The bear looked and went back down to all fours and started moving towards the pup.........next thing i knew, the screen-door slammed and and i hear my wife yelling at the pup "LOOK OUT WOLFIE!" Never saw such a frightened bear in my entire life! (didn't know they could run that fast either) With good reason too.(Even scared me).......mark

Thats one healthy looking bear.
There nothing like a woman fury and even a bear knows when to scoot. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif
If you got one bear you should have more lurking around, and I would dare to say there a big boar bear near by. /w3tcompact/icons/eyes.gif

LOL...Yeah we all are a bunch of turkeys. I am going to try and get some martins myself with some nest put around. We actually don't have many where we are located,,too woody and not open enough I guess. But I am going to try.

Have not been able to get a shot of (not at) the turkeys yet, but three deer stopped by to see if there was any corn left.

These three are two buck fawns and a doe fawn. And you are right, they are close, but it would take a twenty foot stick to reach them. This winter, the deer are in very good shape.
