My gas 3010 is peeing out coolant from the overflow tube when it gets warmed up. I had removed the block heater and plugged it. It was teed into the bypass line and went to the drain plug in the block. I just installed a new clutch and it did not do this before. Assuming it was the thermostat I replaced it along with the cap and both hoses. Any suggestions? Removing the heater wouldn't have done it would it?

Untill the radiator has a couple of inches of air space in the upper tank it will do so.
When the radiator is 100% full and not having a coolant recovery jug it will vent water till it establishes it's desired expansion space.

Here is where the heater was plumbed into.

I was hoping that is it but i had drained all coolant from the block too. I just checked it after letting it cool down and it is still full. Shouldn't the thermostat have opened up letting coolant fill the block back up then I would have needed to top it off.

I can't say for sure on a 3010 but the bypass should have filled most of the block as you filled the radiator. If the block didn't have water up to the thermostat the thermostat will not work, also your temperature gauge will not work without being in water.

Taking the coolant level down 2 inches did the trick. I found my manual and it says it in there also. I guess I'm used to filling it to the top like in a car. Thanks for the help.

Welcome, one thing we have done at times is replace the radiator cap with a newer style and add a coolant recovery bottle.
Cooling systems seem to hold up better without that air gap in the radiator.
