3010 Gas Air Cleaner Stack removal

I need to remove the hood from the tractor but first need to remove the air cleaner stack, which I can't figure out how to do that, and I can't find reference to that in the service manual.

Take a dead blow hammer(mallet) and tap the bottom of the air pre-cleaner off the pipe. Then just raise hood off off muffler and air cleaner pipe at the same time.

on our 4010 you can turn the pipe and pull it out
