Hi all. Long time lurker, first time poster. I have a 3016 shuttle with around 600 hours. It's had a small oil pan leak for some time now and I decided I would take care of it this winter by removing the pan and creating a new gasket using RTV. Long story short, I don't see any way of removing the oil pan due to the location of the front axle drive shaft. Does anyone know if the drive shaft must be removed in order to remove the oil pan and, if so, what's the easiest way of removing it? Thank you for your help.

Do not have a 3016, but most 4WD tractors need that drive shaft removed. Usually a guard of some sort has to be removed. My little 1526 has a flexible rubber bellows over the front universal area that you remove by loosing a stainless hose clamp. Then slide rearward. The actual drive shaft attachment can be seen after that. Should not be that hard to figure out. Good luck, Jerry... :)
