30hp Kioti and 14ft towing trailer ???

I will be towing CK30 with fel and boxscraper.Local trailer dealer will make a great deel on a 9900 gvwr 14 ft double axle trailer. I think volume wise ,this may be too small??Are there any good trailers dealers in western NY?

I believe you will have enough trailer. My first trailer was a 16ft 7500# gvwr. I loaded that with a Kioti lk3054, fel, tiller, grader blade and a 5ft mower. The mower was mounted on the tph and did hangover a little, but it towed fine.

I would be sure the trailer that he is quoting has brakes.

Well, it depends on a few things, but I think you'll be sorry if you don't get at least 16' of trailer for that model. I have the CK20 and have used 12' and 16' with the 16' definitely being the ONE. Around here, it's cheaper to buy a 16' than a 14' as the 14' is not so common as 10',12',16' etc.
The CK30, with a loader, and a mower/backhoe/other implement hanging off the back would be much better on a 16' trailer. It can certainly be done with 14' but two feet makes a big difference in comfort level and ability to carry other implements along for the ride. John

Just a word of caution about trailer sizes.

Some vendors are counting the tongue when quoting the length.

Just be sure once you've decided, that you are getting what you are expecting.

I think 14ft of bed length is the absolute minimum. I used a trailer with a 12' bed, and had the bucket on the tongue, and with my box blade (TC24) it just fit. A rotary cutter would have been hanging off quite a bit.
