Anyone know if the 3PH on the 3110d can be adjusted to drop down lower. I move round bales of hay and the 3PH does not lower enough to spear the bale in the center. I have looked for posibilities on how to provide a lower position and my only thought is longer lift arms. Anyone have thoughts or suggestions. Thanks.

Could you in any way adjust your top- link as to where it makes it longer (un- screw it)?

Anyway, How do you like your 3110?......How does it handle the round bales?...........You run 5 or 6 foot implements?........Have you had any problems getting any parts?......Just asking.....I am looking at one.

Thanks for your suggestion Travis but if the top link is adjusted low enough, the hay spear tip is at an extreme down angle and the bale cannot be speared properly. I have only run a 5-foot bush hog, and box blade with my 3110d and it performs without complaint. I move round bales of hay without a problem but I always scoop a bucket of soil in the Koyker 160 loader for added stability but I do not believe it to be necessary. I frequently climb 30+ degree hills and traverse 25-degree slopes. I have all tires loaded with washer fluid and extended to maximum widths. I have only needed a couple of inexpensive parts and Fredrick’s always has the inventory. They are only approx 30 miles from my house. The 3110d is a good little utility tractor and is a lot of fun to use. I would highly recommend it for hobby or horse farmers and I would give it an A in all categories except for the road gear. I wish it would run 18-20 MPH but I believe it runs approx 13 MPH at recommended RPMs. I don’t believe you would be disappointed with the performance and reliability. I added a ROPs and canopy to mine. Good luck.

Kenmac, I have a longer center link. Where did you get the adjustable lift arms? I have considered welding an extension into the lift arms but I also would like to keep my originals original. Where are you located? I am in Union Grove, which is approx 20 miles southeast of Huntsville. Thanks.

I got my tractor & adjustable arm from Fredricks in Hartselle al..Your tractor should have had 1 adjustable arm on it . Mine did. I'am located in center point

Perhaps you should post a picture of the rear of your unit with the spear completely lowered.

You could use a bale fork, it will fit on the 3 point hitch or the front loader.

After looking at my 3PH setup today, I understand what you mean by "adjustable arm". yes, mine has one adjustable arm and adding a second one would allow lowering the whole 3PH. Will give Fredricks a call and thanks for all the advice.

I agree with the above post about getting a spear for your loader. I have one on my 3110d and it works great. I keep my box blade on the back for balance but I really think it would do fine without it. I've been picking up 5ft round bales.
