3130 vs 4330 HST

I want a tractor but am still in a dilema. I like the size of the 3130 but would like the power of the 4330. I have used the 3130 several times but not ther 4330. I am concerned that the 4330 might be too big physically. Any comments. I thought about the 3430, 3830 but I quess I just wanted the 4 cylinder and the 853 lift.........Any comments?.......Any 3430 or 3830 have regrets that they did not get a 4330??

The LA 853 loader would be understandable, the 3 vs 4 cylinder is silly. Try a 3 cylinder try a 4. I actually think the 3 cylinder in my L3830 is slightly smoother and quieter. More is not necessarily better. I had a L48 and it's 4 cylinder was no smoother, certainly no quieter then the 3 I have now. Power wise, I doubt that one design has more power then the other given similar displacements. My old 3 cylinder International probably would have torque specs that out match any 4 cylinder Kubota makes. If size really is an issue, stick with the L3130 or 3430. If having a loader that has higher lift and stronger specs is foremost, the L4330 would be my choice.

I purchased my L3430 because the physical size met my needs for use and transport. The savings from not buying a larger tractor allowed me to purchase more (and better) attachments. The larger loader capacity would have been nice but the L3430 and LA723 loader are well matched. The loader is only one of the attachments that I use. After I considered all the jobs and appropriate sized attachments necessary to do those jobs I settled on the L3430.

Unfortunately, after three years of looking (and lots of wisdom gained from TBN) I concluded that there was no 'perfect tractor' so I purchased a little larger machine than I probably needed but smaller than I initially thought I wanted and ended up quite satisfied. Good luck.
