316 fuel pump

New guy here.
My JD 316 has been setting idle for a few years. I finally got it so the starter will engage nearly every time I try, but now I can't get any fuel to the carb. A new filter shows no fuel getting to it. Have the fuel pump off an apart. All looks good. Going to replace the vacuum hose that powers the pump today, however the existing one looks good.
Any suggestions on where the problem might be.

Are you getting fuel to the pump? If not blow back through the supply line with reserve and main valve in both positions to see if supply lines are clear, check pre-filters located in tank also. Since it's been idle for a while may have a clog/crud in this supply lines or in the reserve/main selector valve. Just guessing though.

I got the fuel pump working. New line from engine to back of fuel pump. Some new fuel lines. Primed the filter and lines to get it all started. One of those worked as I now get gas to the carb. Engine runs.
