I am in the process of buying a tractor for my landscape bizz. and I'm up in the air with cost/quialty/attachments with the two tractors---CUB's new 3200 and the KIOTI's have dealers within the 30-40 miles from me and was wonder what the big diff. between the two and was size Kioti would be compared to the 3200? I know you guys can help and thank you in advance:)

Hi N.H. Boy, I live in Concord, where are you located?

Sorry I don't know a thing about Kioti's. The 3200 is a very strong, heavy machine. What exactly do you plan to use it for? If you are into landscaping I doubt you plan to do much cutting with it, I'd expect you to use a ZTR for cutting, so is the tractor for ground engaging attachments?

The 3200 Cub/Yanmar looks to be about the same size as the CK25 Kioti (even though it's 7HP less. Both have 60 in buckets.

I've been looking at the Cub too for my father, and they seem to be a heavy duty tractor, and I love the look of it, however, I wasn't really impressed with the lift and loader lift capacities. I have a 20HP Mahindra that's physically smaller than the Cub, and my loader and lift pick up about the same.

The Cub lifts 900lbs at the bucket pins, and 1100 on the 3point (24 inches back).
The Kioti ck25 lifts 1155 lbs at the bucket pins, and 1764 on the 3point (24 inches back)

Another thing to consider... ... I can't remember if the Cub has separate rear brake pedals. I don't think it does. I don't know if the Kioti does either. They come in handy for steering when you lift the front tires off the ground scraping ice on a driveway or something.

Oops. I thought you meant 3200 garden tractor, you were asking about the Cub/Yanmar ex3200 loader, right?

The new Cadet compacts are built by Yanmar in a joint partnership with Cadet.
The best way to look at is most people that run JD's say the older units are better built then the new ones. At least by the number of times they go to the shop.

I've absolutely abused some older Yanmar tractors to the point where I should be ashamed of myself and they never broke. Unless something has changed big time, the Yanmar version of the Cub ought to be something that starts to bring respect back to the Cub name. Up until the mid 70's or so, I was a big Cub fan. For the last couple of decades you couldn't give me one. I think this is a very good move on their part to remove the tarnish from their name before it's too late.
