I just ran across this on the web, it may be old news.

John Deere 3203 tractor recall

Deere & Company Press Release
In voluntary cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Deere & Company is recalling certain 3203 Series Compact Utility Tractors (CUTs). Our records show that you own one of these tractors.
PROBLEM:This tractor has a hydrostatic transmission with a forward and a reverse pedal that are connected to the control levers by way of two screws per pedal. If the screw backs out far enough while the forward pedal is pressed down, the screw may get wedged below the foot deck of the tractor. If this occurs, the control lever will remain in the forward position and the drive motion will continue. In this case, the tractor may not stop unless the operator turns the machine off with the key.
PRODUCT: John Deere models in the following serial number ranges.
ModelSerial Number Ranges3203 CUT with Hydrostatic TransmissionLV3203H000001 through LV3203H0000103203 CUT with Hydrostatic TransmissionLV3203H190001 through LV3203H1934343203 CUT with Hydrostatic TransmissionLV3203H3930933203 CUT with Hydrostatic TransmissionLV3203H394001 through LV3203H396669

WHAT TO DO:
  1. Please contact your John Deere Dealer immediately to make arrangements for the screws to be reinstalled with thread lock sealer adhesive. All updates will be performed without cost to you.
  2. Check the two screws per each pedal. If the screws are loose or have started to back out, tighten the screws accordingly. Until your tractor can be scheduled for repair, use extra caution during its operation.
  3. Inform everyone who operates the tractor of the potential danger.
We hope this recall will not cause you any undue inconvenience. Our efforts are intended to ensure your continued satisfaction with John Deere products and the safe operation of your John Deere Tractor. If you have any questions, please call the John Deere Customer Contact Center at 1-800-537-8233.

Its not like ya have to take the tractor to the dealer. Just take the screws out and put some thread lock on them.
