Our church has a 5 acre lot that really needed mowing. It has been a super rainy spring, so the grass/weeds were 18" tall at minimum and hood high in some areas. As a member of the church and also a tractor dealer, we often will run a used tractor or two down and do the initial couple of mowings in the spring. This time I took a new 3215 shuttle shift with a new Vrismo 7' flail. One might think a 7' flail in that tall of grass would be too much, but it mowed great. I sell a lot of these, yet rarely take the opportunity to really use one. Here are my observations: Lots of power. Even in the tallest grass, running in 4th low, I had power to spare. The push button independant PTO works very well. The ability to change gears while moving while mowing is really handy. The super tight turning radius is great for corners.
I'm in the Mahindra section, so I will say it...this new 15 series is probably the best tractor made in it's class...bar none.
I think I'll take this tractor home. It's a keeper. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
