3240 hst

Hi everyone I am looking at a new 3240hst It has alot of new features that are usefull. I would like to know if anyone has had any problems with it. also what is a good price for a 3240 with the 724 loader and r4 tires any info would be appreciated thanx.

I have one Refueled the other day, turn the key on, when near the top beeper starts going off, speeds up when almost full, becomes steady when full. nice! Love the auto throttle, too. Haven't found anything I don't like.

I'm not current with the price as there were increases after the first of the year. It's a bargain in any case, lots of fun new technology for just a few dollars more.

I have an L3240 on order. Here's how the final pricing broke down:

L3240HST with loaded R1 Ag tires and a Kubota worklight - $15,500
LA724 Loader with QT adapter and HD 72" round back bucket - $4,100
BH90 Backhoe Subframe and 18" bucket - $7,100

Package total pre-tax is $26,700. From what I understand from other comments here, and from doing my own homework, this is an excellent price. Basically 15% off list price, prior to Kubota's 4% price increase on Feb. 1.

Sweet features...I have an '06 L3130. I bought it in Dec. 2006. A couple months later the L3240 came out...I was really p.o'd at myself for not waiting the couple months...of course I didn't know of the replacement and my salesman didn't tell me either .

I knew of the throttle being tied into the gears, but didn't know of the "bells and whistle" feature of the diesel tank...NICE!

I have a two year old L3830. It seems to me that Kubota is like the Japanese car makers that come up with all kinds of little "bells and whistles" for new models that aren't necessary. I have never had a problem filling my tank without the need of a beeper to tell me its full. I guess it would be an essential feature if you were blind. Any way some of the other new features sound useful. Enjoy your new toy!
