325 Garden Tractor Leaking From Hydro

I have a 325 Garden Tractor TractorData.com John Deere 325 tractor information that has started leaking hydro fluid from the transaxle. The tractor has about 1000 hours on it.

I know this was not a popular tractor so experience is limited. But, I'd like to hear from anyone who has possibly experienced this. I think it is coming from the top input pump shaft seal. Looks like from the service manual the seal can be replaced without transmission disassembly.

Any input appreiciated.

Might be the same type trans.
Fast forward to the end where he re-installs the seal/seals.

Other than that, if you've gotten a minimum of 15 years out of that level of tractor?
You've gotten your money's worth. Don't you hate it when things never EVER break down in the winter?
