I just found out that it looks like the quick attach on my 32LA loader is the same configuration as bobcat attachments. The dealer claims that they have two versions; the bobcat compatible and the older ford. Appearently some guys want the old ford configuration so they can use existing attachments.

To me combatibity with bobcat is great since this would allow me to use all those cool attachemnts, many of which can be rented.

Is this bit of info correct?

Fred

Here is the bucket that came with the loader.

Yes, you have the bobcat style quick attach, same as my TN65.

I have my eye on a long list of bobcat attachments for my 32LA. I bought some forks and I think the next toy is a post hole digger. I also want to build a man lift and an extending boom pole. When I get my carport mess and electrical service issues dealt with I'm going to build a jig to make my own bobcat style attaching plates. Do you have the standard 32LA or the MSL?

bgott,

Thanks for the confirmation. I guess I found this supprising since its far to logical of an engineering decision/w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif.

The unit I have is just the regular no MSL. I did not think the MSL was worth the extra money.

I am looking at the fork attachments and long term would love to have a grapple. The combination bucket would also be handy.

It looks like its possible to bolt on a grapple to my bucket and run it with only two remotes. A soleniod switches the hydraullic line bewteen the bucket and the grapple.

A post hole digger would also probably work out well on the loader, since it can apply down force.

I have the MSL. When I bought mine they told me that the only way to get the quick-attach was with the MSL. I also wanted the extra capacity. I've found it to be really convenient when using the forks, especially when lifting someone to trim trees and such.

Brad,

I can see how the MSL would be handy for lifting someone. Would not want to dump the CFO!

Does the MSL add that much capacity?
Maybe I am wrong about not having the MSL, since I do have the quick attach. How can you tell by looking at it? At the time I was pushing the dealer hard for a good deal. As a result he was trying to push me into a cheaper bushhog loader. So when he relented and let me have the 32LA I was not at all picky about the options involved.

I can't seem to find my brochure but if I remember correctly it added around 200# capacity. I was told it cost $1000 extra but it's durn near impossible to get them to break the cost out. The end numbers were right, however. The MSL loader has extra bars on top parallel to the loader arm.

Brad,

I see what you mean. Mine is just the standard, no MSL.

Great looking tractor! Quite a steep up from the 8N!
