Price Check 3316 gear

First let me say I greatley appreciate all the good information I have found on this forum. I have been looking at tractors for a while now and think I have decided on a Mahindra 3316 Gear w/FEL. I have gotten a price of $16,500 tax and delivered. I just wanted to know if this is a fair price. I will be adding a box blade and tiller that I have no priced yet. I would welcome any suggestionson the tractor or implements.

I would have to say that is a pretty great price. I got one at the end of May for $19,954 - 2000 rebate = $17,954. That included the quick attach bucket (I think that is standard.) I also got a finish mower ($1595) and a QA bale spear ($395). I tried hard to bargain down but could only get free delivery. (I am near San Antonio)

You won't be disappointed with the tractor, mine is strong and has been flawless. Has 12 hours on it now.

Price sounds good to me, I have a 3215 HST and paid a little more than that. These tractors are very impressive, you should enjoy it very much. If you are going to use the loader for much dirt work, get your tires loaded, it makes a world of difference in the performance of the tractor.

Thanks for the replys. I will get the rear tires loaded. I am also going to price a tooth bar for the bucket. The first job i have to do is move a pile of red clay that has been there about three years. I am going to go drive the tractor today. Will most likely pull the trigger and have them deliver.

Sounds like a good deal to me; I paid closer to Montyhp's price for my 3316 HST in February this year. You do want the skid steer quick detach bucket; opens the door to other tools.

If you are going to to some digging with your bucket, probably should think about reinforcing the sides and maybe the top too. I put 3/8" plate on the sides and 2x2x3/8 angle on the top of mine.

Thanks for the replys. That bucket work looks great. I ordered the tractor and it is in they will deliver Friday afternoon. I can't wait. I am shore I will have many questions. I also orderd a Brush Grubber from Northern Tool.
Will try to attach image of grubber. Let me know what you think.
