Been lurking here for years while waiting to afford a tractor...
Had just about settled on a B series until I tested it this past summer on the rolling hills of my VT property. It bothered me a bit when it wanted to roll with the bucket half loaded with dirt as I drove off a slight pile of gravel.
I did more homework on a wider and heavier tractor and decided to go for the 3130GST... As luck would have it (I think), the dealer had this 3430HST with 130hrs at a good price. The bank stuff took forever but finally it arrived in time to deal with a nice deposit of snow from above...
But.... During the third hour of operation after starting and running for 15min at about 2F, the 3point hitch would not lift the light duty scraper blade.....
To shorten the story a bit, the tractor is back at the dealer but they did leave me a loaner. Something about a suspected screen being pushed around by cold hydraulic fluid??
The FEL was working fine all the time the hitch screwed up. I continued to move snow while waiting for the dealers flatbed.
I love the tractor thus far and have confidence that this hitch thing will resolve itself quickly.. It still has plenty of warranty left on it...
I'll post again when I get the tractor back.

PS: This feels much more stable then that 7610 I tried this past summer! Please don't flame me if you have a B. My best friend has one and loves it. I just decided to go a bit bigger as a personal decision.
