I just registered here, and I need some expert help. I am on my second ignition board on my 345 and it just fried this one too. I had a disconnected ground after changing the water pump and the first board fried up. I reconnected the ground wire to the engine and ordered a new ignition board. I replaced it and it worked great for two hours and then it fried the new board as well. Several of the diodes and transistors are burned up. The ground is connected and is nice and clean.
I wish the **** fuses would have blown instead of burning up two **** boards. These things are $100. What do I do now? I'm out of options and ideas. What the HECK is causing this? Anyone ever see that movie "The Money Pit" well this 345 is starting to feel a lot like that. Any help is appreciated.
