345 Lawn Tractor No Spark ???

I have a 345 with 2K hrs on it. It's been a great piece since 1995. Two days ago blew snow with it having no problems what so ever. Parked it in my shop to thaw that night and yesterday went to start it and it just turned over continuously. Nothing !!! Pulled both plugs and no spark either side. Checked a couple of fuses on the circuit board and they were fine. ANY IDEAS ????

Well after a little searching on the internet, there are several engines for that machine. What engine do you have?

A real common thing on a 345 , which is also ridiculously cheap to try- is a time delay module. It is zip tied on the Lh side of the engine in the top shroud area. The original ones were squarish and the replacement has been barrel shaped for a while. ~ 20$ AM128906

Just guessing here, but if it's truly a 1995 ---- it should be an FD590V and it most likely does not have the referenced time delay module.

It may be a plastic cam gear if it still has one?? 2,000 hours would be a lot of hours for that cam gear. Do the lifters move when you crank it over??

I had a 345 w/Kawasaki engine that would run for 10 minutes then die. Tried the timer module fix but turned out to be the electronic ignition box (~$200) that fixed the problem. Took a couple of seasons to diagnose, JD was zero help in trouble shooting. I sold it for a BX and love my Kubota and the dealer is extremely helpful when I need advise.
