I recently bought a 345d Industrial. It is a 1993 model with a 201 naturally aspirated engine. According to my Ford shop manual, this machine has 56 hp at the engine and 45 at the PTO.
Why is the HP lower than other ag tractors with the 201 engine (the 4630 for example)? Being that my tractor weighs nearly 10000 lbs, it could use a little more power. Did Ford detune these engines for some odd reason? Is there a way to easily get that 10 HP back?
