Has anyone ever had an issue with the fuel cell placement? Does it have a tendancy to gobble up sticks?

I like where it is but have to ask as this is one of the tractors I'm looking at!

Bob,
Ive Been selling this product for Century (same product, different distribution) for several years without any issues with it. It does have a steel shield. It is a nice feature as far as having a low fill point.
They are great machines,If your comfortable with the dealer Id say go for it.Its alot of machine for the money whether its a Century or Branson.Good luck

This is just one of the great features of these tractors. not only is it easier to fill it puts the wt. down lower to help lower center of gravity. I use mine in the woods and brush all the time and haven't had any problem. These are GREAT tractors. I've had mine almost two years now (century3045) and I HIGHLY recomend them.

Bob, I have a Century 2535 with the same low slung tanks and have had no problems in the woods with sticks. Any tractor unless it is heavily shielded can tear up the underside with sticks if they are caught wrong. Believe me most of us have done it at one time or another. Care and remaining alert will enable most problems to be avoided. But if you use the tractor a lot in fields or woods sooner or later you will have something get hung up. The tanks are shielded sufficiently to not be affected nearly as much as other parts under the tractor. All CUTs have this risk. Shielding is a good investment if you are concerned. The Branson and Century tractors are as well built and durable as any brand and should not have any more problems other brands. I have had mine for almost a year and have had no problems with it And I use it in the woods a lot. willie jones

Bob,
I've had my 3510 for two years and like leaddog spend most of my time working in the wooded areas of my property. I've run through some pretty thick brush and haven't had a problem. The shield really rules out most problems. Filling it with fuel is much easier than others with tank fills "up top". I would buy another one tomorrow - maybe next time with a BH!

I drive mine through some of the thickest brush imaginable, and have never had a problem. I must say, also, that I love being able to fuel it without sloshing diesel all over the tractor.
I've got a Century 3647 and love it.

Good luck,

anthony

Bob, I installed a belly pan under my 3035 just to be safe. I thought it was worth the 30 dollars it cost to have it fabricated and I installed it. It runs from the tranmission filter up to the engine oil drain.
What ever makes you feel safe.

Hi Bob. Before I purchased my 3520 I spoke with a gentleman who's only problem was a damaged fuel filler neck. He did say however that it took quite a bit of strength and tourque from a large limb (I believe) to do the damage. He has posted here before, so you might find him or maybe he will reply. Im impressed with mine and no damage yet and will install a lower shield one day. Franz /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

As a prospective buyer, I will add that the fuel tank placement on the Bransons allows the designers to have much more room in the seat area. I'm big so the cockpit room is a big concern to me. Branson has one of the best that I have tried.
