What tractor do you have now? what do you need this tractor to do? you might need the extra Horsepower ? I own a 4110, so I might be biased . They are basically the same frame tractor , different size engine, 3510 ( 35HP - 3 cyl.) and the 4110
( 41HP - 4 cyl.) , have a weight difference of only 88 lbs.
My opinion, go with the extra horsepower.

/forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif but the cash differance in my pocket is nice too

Well I have the 4110, but I am not so sure the "extra hp" that I have is that significant as compared to the 3510. But, then again, I have not driven the 3510. Seems like the 3510 is easier maintenance. The hydraulic filter on the 3510 is spin-on I think, the 4110 is a big pain ... and expensive too. Not sure how much the spin-on filter is for the 3510, but it has to be easier to change than the 4110.

With you having the 2810 already, Delay The purchase, until you save enough for the tractor that suits your future needs, I have been there with the money situation, it took me almost a year to save the difference between the tractor I could afford at that time and the tractor I knew I would need as my Horse enterprise grew. Just my experience.
You are the only one who knows what is best for youself. whatever you chose, "Good Luck"

jpm,
Just now read your other post showing your current tractor setup 2810. I personally can't see going to either of these 2 units from the 2810 for the $$. Just me, but I'd want to double my HP before trading up for the $$ involved. I have an old Ford 2N tractor that has about 18HP on a GOOD day. Got the 4110 because I wanted more than twice what I had. Going from 28 hp to 35-41 just wouldn't be worth the extra money to me. But everyone has different needs. In your case, if you really think you must go with a 10series, go with the 41hp. At least you have increased you HP somewhat from what you already have. But if I had a 2810, I'd be thinking larger than either unit(maybe 5500 series+) if I needed to upgrade. Going from the 2810 to the 35/4110 to me it would be like going from a 500MHZ computer and buying a 700MHZ computer.

the reason for the trade up is mostly for the larger 509 backhoe w/pto setup.i really like my 2810 but the property i
now have i can use more hydr.power

Both run the backhoe fine, but the 4110 gives you quite a bit more ground clearance as they use a really big (very cool) R4 tire.

The 509 has over double the force as the 3265.

Both are good tractors, but at this point I'd say if you are moving up, go for the 4110.
