Well I finally decided to buy the 3510. I had been comparing several tractors and had it narrowed down to the Kubota L3400 with Fel and the Mahindra 3510 with Fel. Both were reasonably close in price and whats funny is the salesmen from both dealers live across the street from each other.
My deciding factors were: 1300lbs more weight, adjustable links, draft control, rear Hydraulics, 72" bucket, 2 speed PTO, foldable rops all standard. With these options the Kubota package would have been quite a bit higher. 5 hours on it putting around scraping the driveway, hauling firewood in the bucket and just getting used to all the gizmo's. So far pleased with it. 4WD is a little stiff on the shifter and the shuttle sometimes grinds if wheel movement is too extreme. Also the seat is fixed and will not tilt up.
Implements purchased with it were a 5ft box blade, Woods BB600 medium duty mower and a quick hitch. Looking for reasonable parts for the service of it, i.e, filters. Would appreciate any links as to where to buy them or Napa cross overs.

Unless your machine is HST you need to clutch while shifting the shuttle shift. Are you still moving when you shift between reverse and forward ? if the 4wd doesn't go in easily I find changing directions (forward/reverse) briefly helps with my 4110. The is another topic on 3510 filters on the mahindra forum right now. I think they said the NAPA 1324 was the oil filter. Good luck and enjoy your new tractor.

Keep your front wheels strait and rolling along real slow and the 4wd moves in and out like a champ. It actually tells you to do that in the book. Took me about a week to figure it out. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I dont think any of us Mahindra owners will tell anyone that the seat is real comfy. It gives me a place to park my behind so I am happy.

I went with the 3510 for a lot of the reasons you did. Kubota L2800 was #2. The prices at that time were within 500 bucks.

Filters from the dealer were not way out of line. The NAPA gold 1324 cost me under 6 bucks. I dont think anyone has crossed the hyd filter yet. I'll try in 300 or so hours. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

LOAD YOUR TIRES, what did he say? LOAD YOUR TIRES. That loader is a lot of loader out in front of you. You can put about 45gal of windshield washer fluid in each of the rear R4's to get a top of the rim fill. Makes a huge difference.
