Good news, bad news! Good news- neighbor had dirt to spread. Bad news- he only got 2 dump truck loads. I have a 7' blade that I used and this tractor handled it without grunting. Very powerful! I used 2nd range, 3rd gear with 4 wheel drive. I barely needed 4 WD but it's there so why not?
Also the R-4 tires are great on this tractor! After spreading the dirt I ran back and forth to compact the dirt. It really made a difference. He is filling an area to build a garage. If you aren't doing a lot of plowing the R-4s are the ticket. They don't hurt my grass when running the finish mower either.
Gotta go, I need to Armor-all the tractor floor mat, the dirt got smudges on it! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif tim
