Pros,
massive machine, it will fill the bucket with loose stuff no problem and hard packed stuff with a little stick work.
I have been scraping topsoil and if I take about 4-6 inches a pass and work the boom up by a 1/2 inch or so while moving forward, until it fills the bucket.
It will lift it to full height no problem with a over full bucket of damp topsoil.
Easy on easy off of the tractor.
Lots of weight to the tractor, good traction with the r4's. Plenty of power.
Cons,
Hard to see what you are doing with the bucket, that is not really a Mahindra only problem though. All tractor loaders are like that, but the seat sits low and IMHO compounds it some.
The turnbuckles for the 3pt are real close to the tires, you HAVE to run with the rubber holding the arms together if you dont have a implement on.
Neither here nor there,
The 12x12 gears with SS take a little getting used to. I found myself going the wrong way in the wrong gear about 1/2 the time when I first brought it home.
If you are a bigger guy, you will find that in low range 2nd gear, your legs will touch the gear shift and range selector. I have knocked it out of low range with my thigh when I was twisted around doing something or another.
The loader is slow, but you can fill it fast. If you have run construction type equipment you will notice it some. I have run construction eq, and it really hasnt been a factor. I think it is a good balance of speed and power. I normally keep the RPM's at around 12-1400.
LOAD THE REAR TIRES, that is a lot of loader out in front of you, you need weight in the back. I normally have a carryall or backblade or single bottom plow on when I am working it. Neither of them has enough weight to counter the loader. Loading the tires will NOT compleatly counter the loader either, but it sure does help a lot.
You will get used to the loader as you use it, I wouldnt want to tie a rag to a tooth and clean windows, yet, but I'm getting better with it.
Get a tooth bar.
Get a chain hook welded in the middle of the bucket.
If you have ever run a tractor loader without a shuttle shift, you will like it. Its sweet.
I still have less than 50 hours on it. Most of that is loader work. I plowed up a log landing that was made of rip rap and moved it to places I wanted to fill, slow work but the tractor did it without to much trouble. If I can get some dry weather I can get most of my dirt moved and then get it out in the woods pulling tree tops.
So far I like it and am happy with the purchase.
