On my 3520 (2007 open station PR, ~240 hours), it just started acting all kinds of weird with the fuel gauge. I noticed the dummy warning light came on the other day, but I knew there was at least a half tank of diesel. Just kept running it and finally it sorted itself out. Since then it has continued to be all over the place, but I am not sure where the sensor is for this to check it out. Anyone know? Really it isn't a big deal as I typically never run it low, but if it is easy to replace the sensor I probably will. Thanks in advance.

I have a 4520 open station and fuel gauge from new always at about 1/2 tank would show low fuel but continue to use then maybe couple of gallons used would work properly. Dealer added heavier ground wire then cleaned the ground connection. Then when out of warrenty wanted to change the fuel sending unit.( Trading tractor may be cheaper.) So I use a paint stick for 5 gal. buckets and permment marker . when low pour in 5 gal. mark then add 5 gal more and mark This way know how much to add when checking tractor in the morning.
Wish could help more but need the tractor not to let sit in repair shop awaiting for replacement parts. from day 1.
Remember before the days of cheapest bid on manufacture of parts. things worked . then electronics took over pretty lights flashing gizmos humming and computers telling you about a low fuel condition.
Even with full tank freshly filled. How often did you have a bad fuel sensor on any brand of auto or truck before computers came into play.
