I have a 3320 with the 300cx and a 61 inch bucket. The way I read it, the 300 CX has a nealy 1600 pound lift capacity. I have been able to easily pick up anything I can get in the bucket, that is what impressed me.
I have loaded dirt, chat rock, 2 inch rock, sand and crushed limestone. It seemed like the sand and limestone gave me the most weight up front. I have the JD weight box for ballast (with no fluid in the tires). When I was transporting a loaded bucket over some bumpy ground, the bucket load was so heavy it was lifting the back tires up a bit when hitting a bump. I slowed down and put the bucket a little lower and it did fine.
I did some checking before I bought and as far as I can see, the 3xxx series tractor with the CX loader has by far greater lift capacity than any other tractor in that class. You will not be disapointed.
On the other hand, you have to be realistic on what you try and pick up. Like I said, I can lift anything I can get into the bucket, but if your going to try and lift a 2000 pound bale, or pick up the front of a heavy gooseneck trailer or some other really heavy load, you need to get a bigger unit. You need to match your equipment for what you need to pick up. My son had used my 3320 to pick up some logs when moving trees and cutting firewood, I was surprised what he was picking up but then again I am not sure how much the trees weighed but they were about a foot in diameter and 20 to 25 feet long.
