Have a quote on a new '05 model 3520 that I hope someone can help me determine whether it's fair.

Tractor w/e-hydro, cruise & R4s- $17,700

Total delivered price w/FEL (didn't specify x or cx) is $21,700.

Would appreciate any comments from the experts here.

Thanks!

That is right in the ballpark of what I paid in aug of last year.

Don't know if this helps. Got a quote today on a 3120 w/ 300CX FEL, toothbar, I-Hitch, 60" box blade, Rear SCV, out the door for 20,100. Seriously considering pull the trigger on the deal. Have to get approval from the boss. Ironically, I was not even looking JD (always believed prices would be to high) however, when I compared against Kubota B3030 & NH TC29DA, price was in the ballpark.
Good luck with your decision.

I paid $22,162 for the same stuff late last year (with CX loader).
The cruise option lists at $80 something, so insignificant.

Good luck!

Thanks everyone.

I called the dealer today and asked about the loader. He told me it was going to be a 400x. I reminded him that a 400 wouldn't fit and that the MSRP for a 300CX was less than the $4k he was adding. So he said that they'd rework the deal and add the rear SVC that I need. Will probably come out close to the original $21,700 price.

To be fair, so no one thinks the guy is an idiot, he's busy peddling lawn mowers at a local home show. Thus he's quoting me prices off the top of his head. But at least I know it's not a 'horrible' deal for me. Sometimes I get suckered. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Sweet!
When do you actually get it?
I had to wait over a month. That sucked /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Tractor is on-site (which makes the wait more difficult), but they have to order the loader... should be here in a couple of weeks. I already snagged the manuals so I'll have something to do while waiting. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

So how much more should the 3720 cost vs the 3520? Ive priced a couple, i forget the figures off the top of my head but these seem cheaper that what ive gotten back from dealers. I was looking at something like $27k for a 3720, 300cx, 65" tiller setup.

Figuring the 3720 is $22k alone $3800 for 300cx and $2800 for 65" tiller which is $28,600. I only had optioned for mid pto, extra lights on ROPs bars, hood gaurd that comes with the loader and R4 tires.

Seems theyll give like 10% discount, i guess you have to wheel and deal for finalized pricing.

I have been informed that Deere discounts have been steeply curtailed. 10% is probably vary good; anything more is probably amazing.
