3520 trailer advice

Hi

Have a need to transport my 3520 (tires are not filled) with the following:
300cx loader w/ 4in1 bucket
485 backhoe w/ thumb

I have a flatbed trailer with tandem 3500lb axles (brakes both axles) -- will my equipment be too heavy for it?

I don't have specs for my trailer, but i'm guessing it weighs 1800-2000lbs, which would leave me with 5000lb capacity.

I found a spec which had the tractor at 2900lbs, but I cant find any other specs.

Hmm, found this with search, looks like total weight is probably close to 6000 lbs.

I figured the same weight with my 3520 with a woods backhoe. I hate pushing the axle/tire limits so my 18' 14k trailer has plenty of reserve capacity to do the job. The trailer is 3000 lbs empty.

Not to be a smartass but why don't you weigh it and eliminate the guesswork?
Thats what the feds would do if you ever had a "issue".

Think big picture here ,if you overload a trailer then happen to be involved in a incident where lawyers get involved where do you think the blame is going to be pointed?

I'm running a 3320, 300cx loader, and a mx6 on a 20' trailer with the same axles as you. Canadian traffic laws are kinda stringent, and mine passed with a thousand pounds left to spare. Our DOT's just wanted me to make sure I kept more weight forward so the truck is handling some of extra weight, but with my set up, there was no choice, it JUST fits. Shoulda went with a 25' or 30' gooseneck and 7000# tri-axles.
