3520 with 665 65-inch Tiller

Since the 55 won't quite cover it's tracks it looks like a 65 would be nice. The only problem is how will a 3520 do with a 665 hooked up.

With those horses under the hood, I would think it would handle it quite well. I handle a 60" tiller easily with my Deere 4300, at about 5 hp less.

Is there something that leads you to believe the 3520 will not handle the 665? Curious here.

Just a few things the dealer said but he may be trying to nudge me towards the 3720.

I can't see you having any trouble with that combo (3520 w/665 tiller). Go for the bigger tiller if it's in your budget.

Saw a 3x20 series at the dealer yesterday. Sweet tractor /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Of course it's just like ours though (4x20 series), but a tad smaller. I love the looks though. Enjoy!

My 455 is 22HP engine rated, and handles the Deere 450 tiller at 50" wide VERY well. Power is not an issue, but holding it back in soddy earth definitely is. This tiller has a lot of push, and has dug ouy many a rock, some the size of bowling balls. The only time I've had the engine really work is if I really try to run fast on the hydro pedal or get stuck. The reality is, if I go fast enough to labor the engine, the tiller doen't go as deep anyhow so the hydro is really what works the engine.

I've got a 65" for my 4300, and it handles it just fine. You should be ok too.
