3525 mahindra tractor..smoking under load

I have a 3525 tractor that i bought new.i have changed the engine oil and tranny oil.the tractor has only 113 hours used time.i bought the tractor 1 and a half years ago..it smokes under a load when i use my backhoe.what could be the problem??

All diesels smoke a little when loaded, especially when a change in load occurs. this would be more so if you are operating the backhoe at low rpms.

If its continually belching smoke from the exhaust, white or blue being really bad, then there is a problem.

i am running around 1500 rpm.no white or blue smoke.just blackish color..

Does it only do it when using the backhoe?

yes mostly using the backhoe

could you give us some more info on the backhoe.......does it have a PTO driven hyd. pump?

have you tried to really put a load on the FEL to see if it smokes then?

have you tried increasing the RPM's to see if it continues to smoke?

The black smoke is probably a good thing and is most likely just unburned diesel fuel. It would be better, in my opinion (two diesels) than would white or blue smoke. My initial guess would be injector pump timing is off a bit. I have seen it on a 5500 Mahindra not too long ago....a little adjustment from a proper mechanic and it was good as new. Good luck and listen to the dealers in this situation. They have the experience with most situations.
