Does any body know the part number of the fuel filter for this tractor, its the weekend and i am about a 100 miles from a dealer. Got about a 100 bails of hay waiting in the field. I know i can call my dealer Monday but maybe i could cross reference the number and find a substitute so i won't be down all weekend. i would imagine there are quite a few people out there who wouldn'd mind a cross reference chart to local brands to all filters of their own representative series and model tractor, i know right now i sure do. i tried to call the 24/7 owner care line and got absolutely no useful help. I did not need to do heart surgery on the tractor or anything i just needed the part number of the filter. Well guess what, they are not authorized to give out part numbers on the phone, so, that left me with a big zero for his next statement "Can i help you with anything else?". I am sure that the hotline can be helpful i am just a little frusterated right now cause i am down for the whole weekend because of a couple dollar fuel filter and i dont' have the means to get one quickly. Thanks guys let me stop here cause i don't want to sound like i am bitching about my tractor, cause i am not, its a great machine and wouldn't trade it for anything. Hey fuel filters in diesel machines no matter what make give owners problems, right? I guess the statement i am trying to say is that i wish they just put the **** number in the owners manuel.

murray,

Wix shows #33176 for the primary fuel filter. No secondary # listed. In the "notes" column, they show # 1082448R92, which I think might be the Mahindra part number.

For the Engine Oil filter, Wix#51068, which is a "short" #51515 (PH8A, FL1A, etc equivalent). Notes # 5557147R91.

For Hydraulics filter, Wix#51519, notes # 5556039R91.

That should give you some numbers to get started. I can't find a secondary fuel filter yet...

Gee Whiz, What good is the 24/7 help line if they refuse to help with such a simple request as a filter number...:(???

No luck finding a cross reference for the secondary... it must be a dealer only part.

Hopefully it's just your primary that's plugged up and you can get going again!

I use the Donaldson Numbers P550060 and P550860 Fuel Filters for my 3525DI.

Can order in for you (my company is a Donaldson Distributor ) - We sell mostly filters for Off-Road Equipment at Quarries.

I would also think that you could use the 33167 Wix for BOTH the Primary and Secondary filters and be just fine........if that filter is easier for you to find.

Thanks you both XlR82v2 and KenB2 for your information, it has proven very useful, i was able to obtain the filters from the local parts store using the numbers you gave me and they crossed it over to what they had. I have written down all of the other filter numbers for future use. Now for those 100 round bails waiting for me in the field, Thanks again!

Murray,

Just curious,

What size round bales are you moving, and how does the 3525/230 handle them? I haven't lifted anything really heavy with mine yet, just have moved a lot of dirt and gravel with it so far... but, some of that clay was pretty heavy. I've dug up a lot of small trees/brush with it to. Absolutely no complaints, other than I wish I would have gotten a brush guard... I've had to put my grille screen back in 3 times now

I haven't missed 4WD hardly at all... this thing is a beast.

I am not exactly sure but I have heard 900lbs. and I have also heard 1000lbs per round bail. What I can tell you is that the 3525 handles them effortlessly, and believe me I can tell you that its had plenty of practice, before the fuel filter mess we had already moved around 100 bails and I moved another 100 after getting it fixed up with yalls help. I do have a frontend loader and I am sure it does make alot of difference how much I can pick up in the back with out any lift of the front end. can tell you this also I have a hay spear installed in the loader right now and the loader picks up the bails effortless also, I do pick up and leave a bail on the back forks as a counter weight the whole time I am using the loader to put bails on the trailer. If we are not using a trailer I bring in two at a time one bail on the front and one on the back, no problem. For a small tractor its got alot more power than most people think its does. Thanks again guys!
