360 DTC Farmtrac PTO issue

Hello, I'm new to the forum and was wondering if I can get any suggestions on my PTO problem.
I have the 360DTC Farmtrac with over 300 hours, never had any major problems. However I am puzzled about what my PTO is doing. It engages and disengages on it's own, in the OFF position. This happened about a year ago and I changed the main PTO selector switch on the dash and it seemed to fix the problem, at least until now. I know there are 2 switches, the main selector switch ( the one I previously replaced) and one attached by the clutch pedal for when it's in Manual. I am wondering how can the switch go out that soon, again. Has anyone had any problems like this, or any suggestions other than to replace the switch again, even though I guess I'd have to, but why is it doing it? I know I got a little long winded, sorry about that. Also, any suggestions on where I can purchase the switch or other farmtrac parts, there are no dealers anymore in my area. Thanks

I have a FT 360 DTC and have never had a problem with the pto, seeing as how these tractors were made for Farmtrac by LS I would think that any LS dealer could get you any parts you might need. Good luck.

Thanks for the info. I did find the pto switch at a Long parts dealer on the internet, The Good and The Bad was;
it wasn't the switch, but at least I have a spare if ever needed, it turned out to be a wire leading to the switch that somehow broke, which I only noticed in the process of changing the switch. I repaired the broken wire and all is fine now.

Just reading into this post i have a 360 DTC that i cannot get the PTO to turn on. Indicator lights come on on the dash and clutch switch seems to be working but the PTO does not turn??

I will look again for cut wires and test switches, just thought there may be another safety switch on seat or something.

I also have a 360 DTC with 420 Hrs on it. The PTO quit working and started blowing fuses. I traced all the wires and could not find any problems. Upon reaching the switch behind the diff lock pedal I found it to be melted. I removed the nut on the outside of the assembly but was unable to remove the switch. Any ideas on how the switch is removed ?
