I have a 3600 ford diesel and about every 6 or 7 hrs of use the pit cock, I guess it called that, its on the bottom of the tank where you cut the fuel on and off fills up with rust, I thought it was gunk as I haven't had the tractor long, but as much as Ive drained it and filtered the fuel Im thinking its rust now, My question is if I keep doing this will all the rust finally get gone or am I going to have to get a new replacement tank Ive seen some plastic ones on e-bay by the way or maybe take this one off and get it sandblasted and coated with somthing, Im very limited on money but I would like to get this problem fixed its mighty hot here to be stopping and working on my tractor every time I bush hog thank for the help
