3600 series Masseys

Stopped by the Massey dealer to visit this morning and he had one of these in. I drove it around the yard. It is a very nice tractor. It is very obvious that the quality control is much better than the 400 series. All the controls operate very smoothly, the clutch requires only a fraction of the pressure that the 400 series does. The power steering also appears much smoother. The Sisu engine appears to have less vibration at low rpm than the Perkins does. It is also a good looking tractor!

Local Massey dealer has one as well. They're having open house this weekend, I plan to go tomorrow.

The CAT dealer in Valdosta, Ga. had a field day about 3 weeks ago and had 2 of those Carraro Tractors there a MT315B (45 PTO) and a MT345B (75 PTO) both were open station, FWD, without power shuttle. I am going to the farm show in Moultrie, Ga. next WED. and hope to see a cab version either in MF or Challenger there. He said Challenger cab models are due in on the lot around the end of the month. O'yeah I did test drive one and would probably rather have the power shuttle option.

There is a 3635 on long term test in the Amish community at Yoder, Ks. They really like it, it seems to have more power at the rated hp than any of their other tractors, and operates really smoothly. It is a good looking tractor, I just wonder where the price will end up.

I,m going to Moultrie, Ga. in the morning to the sunbelt farm show, my buddy was there today and said the have a 3645 cab with loader and several other 3600 MF platform tractors
